How it works

Cami records one high-resolution camera feed and writes two videos from it at the same time: 1080 × 1920 (9:16) and 1920 × 1080 (16:9). The outlined frames in the viewfinder show exactly what each video will contain. When your phone is upright, the 16:9 frame is a horizontal band — drag up or down on the viewfinder to move it over your subject. Hold your phone sideways and both videos still come out upright.

Common questions

Where are my videos?
Both videos are saved to the Photos app when you stop recording. You can also share them from the review screen by tapping the thumbnail next to the shutter.

Videos aren't saving.
Open Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos → Cami and allow adding photos.

No sound in my video.
Allow microphone access in Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone. Timelapse videos never include sound.

How do I use the teleprompter?
Tap the text icon at the top right, then the pencil to write your script. Adjust speed with the slider; the script can start scrolling automatically when you hit record.

Which apps can edit Cami videos?
Videos are standard MP4 (H.264 by default, or HEVC in Settings) and open in CapCut, iMovie, Premiere Rush, LumaFusion, DaVinci Resolve and most other editors.
